This page is for showcasing just a few of Helen's little images which have been hand-finished by applying pure 24 carat SHELL GOLD highlights. This paint was made from real gold leaf and ground in honey by Helen for over 3 hours and washed many times (in an ancient method used by illustrators of illuminated manuscripts) just to make the grains fine enough to paint with.
These images are printed on Hahnemuhle, archival, heavy duty paper which will last for over 100 years. The gold will last for ever.
All images have a plain white mount, ready for framing and priced at £75 each.
